your not going to use the cam bolts? Alignment shop told me it would take a long time to align the truck with the threaded shanks. I imagine it would have been a lot more expensive and a hassle. I got my alignment #s, and moved stuff around with the threaded shanks and told them to just align it with the cam bolts.

Hey its your first one right? Long travel is a huge project for a first fab. At least you did it!

Yea im going to driveway align it. Camber can be eyeball aligned. Toe can be string aligned with your steering wheel locked straight. And casters not terribly important. As long as your spindle isnt tilted forward your good.

Thing of beauty compared to the stockers. And i haven't weighed it yet. But doesn't feel that much heavier.

Recent rumblings in Desert racing world suggest i build the dakota to race 3750 class in best in the desert.

Until now i couldnt race in the classes i fit in because of the factory v8. Theyre all v6.

So theres a jeepspeed/mopar class now called 3700/3750. Which allows pretty much any dodge truck or suv and jeep.

so i talked with mike of jeepspeed. Looks like i may be adding a cage and some safety features and start racing ;-)

There goes my paychecks lol.

Veering away from the suspension for a second. Stripping the interior so i can start on the roll cage and center console. The truck will retain climate controls and the 1000w stereo. That way racing is plush :-P
