You're too young for that bike. Lol.

On the new truck thing, I just read an article predicting overcapacity for the industry. Might be some good deals around the corner.

LOL! Had a salesman tell me when I was looking at a newer one... "If you ride motorcycles, you'll end up on a Goldwing." I think he's right!

Back to the original topic, it couldn't hurt to test drive the truck you've been watching... Except for the fact that you'll like it and want to buy it even more!

There's a lot to be said for having a vehicle you can depend on, and a warranty to back it up. As you know, buying a leftover is usually a great way to go! If that's worth having a new payment book then I wouldn't say upgrading is the worst idea in the world.

Well, warranties are not always the best thing in the world. Like in my case, the dealer is saying that the damage was caused by abuse and i'm saying that the truck was not abused. How could the reverse clutch be burned when none of the forward gears show any signs of burning or unusual wear.

File a complaint with the BBB and take them to arbitration (no cost to you).

Ive had this truck for going on 8 years now? give or take. Ive watched a 2014 dealer lifted Ram on 33's or 35's cant remember. The dealer uses 4 wheel parts and everything is under warranty. The options list is decent but I'm concerned that I might be down grading on a few things. for example just because the truck has a tow hitch on the back doesn't mean it has a TOW package. Although it had a trailer brake controller on the dash, I couldn't find any wording that said HEAVY DUTY on the options list. The ram has everything my truck has and then some in other categories. Im curious to maybe drive it...im interested in the new 8 speed tranny with the Hemi combo. I average 15.5-16mpg with my 4.7L HO. it would be nice to get the same mpg with a quad cab ram.
Suggest you rent a Ram for a week and check the mileage yourself. The 2015s get about 1 MPG more than the 2014s. We usually rent Rams when we go to our lake property in Louisiana because we need a 4 WD truck. The 2014 and 2015 Rams that we have rented have gotten 21-23 MPG on the road and 17-19 mixed driving. You might check Enterprise for used Rams beginning in August, when it starts replacing the fleet. They will pull trucks from the fleet with very low mileage (under 10,000) just because of a model year change. Warranty is transferable and you save big bucks. You can check out the availability, locations, price, and equipment on individual trucks at the Enterprise web site.
