We're is the Tcm in a 2005 Dakota club cab?

 

I believe it is under the hood. Same unit that controls the engine controls the trans.

 

Does it contral the door locks and the power windows and also the power and heat on the mirrors? Thanks for your help.

 

I think the TCM is part of the PCM. It's located in the rear right corner of your engine compartment.

 

Has anyone took a 05 Dakota at and added power everything and replaced the PCM form a power everything 05-07 Dakota or Durango? Thanks for all your help guys

 

I've been looking to do this, but its been difficult getting all the right parts. I am looking for a dash wiring harness now. I looked at all of the wiring diagram I could but the TCM looks to control all of the exterior lighting. I didn't see anything linking it to power windows/locks. It would be great if I could get the part #s for all of the wire harnesses I am having a hard time finding a 3gen truck much less one with all the wires I need.
