I'm going to replace the shocks and struts soon myself (2005 4.7 4x4). I was wondering if there are any other recommended things to do to the suspension while I have those off? Specifically things that aren't too advanced or too expensive. Thanks
Might as well do the stabilizer bar end links and stabilizer bar bushings while you're at it, won't add too much more to the cost. I just did all this plus hubs/bearings. I hope you don't have trouble with your lower strut bolts, they can be a pain!

Thanks. I'm going to start with the penetrating oil a week or two in advance.

I bought everything from RockAuto.com. My tie rod ends, ball joints, and end links all had grease fittings on them. Originals did not. I bought the same struts as you and I love them. They did make the front a little higher than it had been, but I used Monroe shocks on the rear. My front is level with the rear, with no leveling kit. You're gonna love how it handles with all those new parts!
