Adjusting Camber
Hello all, hoping someone can help me out. I'm looking to adjust the camber on my 06 4.7 SLT. The inside edges of by front tires are wearing out and when I look at the truck from the front, I can see the bottom of the tires are kicked out and the tops of the tires are pulled in. I believe there are two bolts on the lower control arm's which can be used to adjust camber. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?
thanks in advance

That's the best advice. A front end alignment around 60 bucks here where I live, and that's from guys I actually trust. Camber, toe, etc, isn't something you should just eyeball..... there are specific specs for it, and tolerances are only 1 or 2 degrees from 'ideal'..... Can't get there without the right tools.
Wouldn't hurt to inspect the front suspension first though. May be bad balljoints, or control arm bushings, or several other little problems as well.

Having worked in an alignment shop for many years I strongly agree with the above advice given by the mods.Alignment angle measurement and adjustment is done optically on a special rack equipped with a turntable and slip plates bearing the weight of the vehicle. The mechanic is looking directly at the screen while the adjustment is made as it can't be done by the naked eye or by "feel".Worn or sagging suspension and/or steering components have to be corrected first before proceeding with the adjustment or all will have been done in vain.
Yes. If you crank one of those cans trying to fix your camber you just threw your toe out of alignment making your tire wear problem worse than it was before.
