Default Rims and tires
I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota Laramie 4x4. I was looking upgrade the wheels. What are the biggest rims I can fit in the wheel well?

The "rim" (*wheel) size depends on the tire size you want to run. Read this thread regarding maximum tire sizes and then chose the "wheel" that works best for the chose tire size.

Also, realize that the Offset of the wheels are an important part of how well the new wheel/tire combo fits.

I'm running OEM 20" off a Ram 1500 with 285-50r20 tires
