Default High pitch “whine”

My 06 Dakota started making a highly pitched whine noise. It seems to get louder and higher when you accelerate

This is usually a front wheel bearing hub. ........ as a place to start looking/listening.

does it make the noise in neutral? And where does it sound like it's coming from? You can test your front wheel bearings by jacking it up and wiggle testing it

I just had the wheel bearings replaced a few weeks ago. It does it in neutral as well as in drive. the higher the rpms, the higher the pitch and louder it gets. i uploaded a video to youtube

That sounds like aliens trying to communicate.

See if its louder near the speakers could be radio noise, or the oil pump in the trans. Sounds kinda weird for trans noise tho. If its the pump it should stop in park

it doesn't appear to be radio noise. I popped the hood and it sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. like I said, it does happen in neutral. when it idles I can hear it and when I press the gas it gets louder and higher pitched.

How long it been doing that? Make any changes to the truck recently? Only real things on the passenger side are AC and PCV. Doesn't really sound like belt noise to me.

It start after the water pump or alternator? Or were those replaced trying to eliminate the noise?
