Default Lift kit and tire size help please

just bought an 07 Laramie 4x4 and wanted to see what y'all have done to fit 33x 12.5 tires. Yes I understand I'll have to trim some and possibly get spacers but money really isn't an issue just don't want to spend more then a few grand on it. I live on the east coast of NC and all I do is drive to work and home and on weekends take it, well hopefully take it after I lift it, out on the beach and fish. This is my first Dakota and just really want to enjoy my truck. All help please because I would like to get a move on this truck within a few months. I was thinking about 2.5in blocks in front and 1in the back and maybe a 1-2in body if I can find a body lift that small, all I seem to find is 3in body lift and I had a ram with a 3in body and didn't really like the gap between tailgate and back bumper, what did y'all do to fill the gap especially with the trailer hitch. If I have to I will but I'm hoping to find a suspension lift. Also I have a 3.55 rear and eventually if I do put 33s on it, what gearing should I go with? I will not do any rock crawling nor I'll barley take it mudding. Also if I were to get 33s I would go with 20x10, or what width should I go with and what

spacing should I go with?
Thanks guys.

I would start here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ze-thread.html (Sticky at the top of the forum.)

There aren't a lot of lift options for the 3d Gen Dakota because it's front end doesn't play well with lift kits. As I recall, 2" in the front is about the limit.

That said, if your off-roading is limited to beach driving, your stock tire size with the pressures lowered to 13-15 psi should work. At least, I hope so. I'm planning to visit Assateague in a bit when things settle down and I'm running stock sized tires without any lift.

Oh...Congrats on the new truck! She looks like she was well cared for before you got her. Paint job looks good.

Thank you all and yes it was very well maintained, dealership I bought it from said it was driven by an old man and garage kept. Besides a break job and.shocks, everything is spotless, no rust at all. Possibly thinking of selling it, it has 144*** on it and it's an 07 Laramie. Bone stock

I like a lifted truck and i talked to my buddy and we could do a solid front axle and go as high as I want but thatll be like 7k+ so I said no. I might get a truck I can do a 4 in lift on 33s
