I am installing a run/brake/turn strip on my 2005 Dakota. It's a 5 wire connection ground, running, left signal, right signal, and flashing brake. I know where to get all the signals from the rear of the truck except for the brake since our truck has a cambus system that tells a wire whether to provide steady current for a brake light vs intermittent current for a turn signal.
I have considered getting the brake signal from the 3rd (high center mount) light, but I would hate to run a wire that far.
My truck is an SLT 4.7 V8 2WD. No factory tow package.
Any thoughts where I can get a brake signal that works independently from the turn signal wiring in a simpler manner?

Thank you so much! I tried searching the forum but I was using parameters like: rear led light strip. My truck has that wire. Just found it. Way easier!
Hard to get pics of the strip itself due to the way I mounted it. It's a 30 inch LED tail light strip. Offroadtown brand. Designed for side by sides and dune buggies etc. I went this route b/c I couldn't find a spot on the Dakota to mount a full size truck strip where it wasn't readily visible. I believe LED strips should only be seen when they light up.
It's tucked behind the bumper on the rear most frame cross member. I mounted it as low as possible so the light would be visible through the gap between the tailgate and bumper.
I will be wiring it up here in a few. The 30" length is perfect for the mounting position I chose. Mount location Directions Directions 2 Make/model of strip
