Anyone know where I could get the silver bezel for the 05 Dakota? I'm tring to replace that "wood" looking thing for the silver one but my dealer can't find one.

 

I would think that if a dealer can't locate one, it's not yet available!

 

I got one for my truck....it was only like $80 from the dealer I think (dealer cost)

I had them throw it in the deal since I HATED the wood grain bezel

you can buy a complete interior laminate kit for like 125.00 in wood aluminum etc.....
heres a ebay one...i ve used these kits in the past with good results...it also takes care of those bare door panels...

That silver bezel looks sweet, but it isnt listed on Dodgeparts.com. I tried searching by key word and by the part number.

You gotta click on "Got a part number?" which is the 3rd link down on the left hand side at the top under "Dodge Accessories Catalog"

Copy & paste: 5KF61XZAAB

Then select "Dodge" and click on Search.

Comes up with MSRP of $121, Core Charge $0.00, and price $94.38.
Says "Bezel Instrument Pan" underneath it.


It's the correct part number, because I have the bag that it came in.

 

Let me know if you find one of these as well, I got the brown bomb as well!!!

Thanks, I'll give it a try. My dealer has been ordering it from Dodge for me, but for some reason they keep sending him the wood one instead. Three times he has tried and each time the wrong one. I'm ready to spray paint this "wood" bezel!

 

If all else fails....

What I did originally to get the part number, was get the VIN number from a Laramie Dakota and then gave that to the parts guy and then they looked up the bezel and got that part number for the silver one.
