I miss read the message. I thought it said that it added 292 at the wheel. I stand correctec. Sorry.
I went back and reread the message and then went to the site to look at it. Not a bad looking system. I could certainly use it.

Thanks, I appreciate that. By the by, I have heard that there is a turbo system that could bring that up to about 400 at the wheel. STS Turbos. It's a remote system. It's about the same or cheaper than the S/C and it's suppose to be a lot cheaper as far as maint...

That S/C isnt the answer.....and if your already buying a $25-30k truck....another $5k just for an S/C??? C'mon that's just plain stupid. You would get around $30-35K for the 6.1L SRT-8....and would generate MORE sales.....
Sorry, but I have to disagree here....
Not to mention the work your engine would need down the road from all the S/C power running thru it...

yea its not cheap but at 8psi the motor should last a good long time, if it was a 3.0 mitsubishi motor or a 2.8 chevy then i wold worry since those motors are known to be some of the worst engines produced.....i had a friend turbo his 2002 eclipse, it lasted 2000 miles (at 10 psi) and that kit cost him around 3800 .00 and for the 2.8 3.1 those factory turbo motors were failing before the warrantee....the 4.7 is a pretty rugged motor....and its still cheaper than a srt 10 ram.....
There are a lot of guys out there with S/C's in their trucks that have never had a problem that I've ever heard of. Do some extra mods to the engine to help out with the preservation of the engine. Not cheap, but it'll help. A S/C doesn't work the engine that much harder.

anyone heard anything on the turbo kit?
i emailed them asking for a estimate on how much a custom turbo for my truck would be....1 month later...still no answer
I called them the first time and they told me about $2900 because it would have been the first Dakota ever done. That was when I called them. I emailed them over a month ago and they have not answered. No surprise.
