But the almost $5,000 price tag isn't as nice

Actually, that would be almost 400 at the wheel. I want to get that too. It's the price tag that wil stop me before my wife would let me get one.

I wonder what it would feel like in a AWD truck. I didn't notice much of a difference in my truck with the addition of the CAI.

How is "292 rwh" almost "400 at the wheel?"

I'm thinking typo and meant 300.

yea its closer to 345 hp at the flywheel......and these numbers were from a stock truck with stock exhaust and cams.....but since the HO cams have more overlap so they arent goint to give you more power in a s/c set up....

No, actually, at wheel, the dak has about 176. With the S/C, that'll be closer to 360. That's what I meant about almost 400.

But he said in the original post that it went from 180 rear wheel horsepower up (stock)
to
292 rear wheel horsepower (with the S/C added on)

So it gave it a gain of 112 hp to the wheels

It's still 100+ hp short of 400....so it's only roughly 300hp

Nice numbers, none the less, but I'm trying to be more realistic and tell you it's not near 360 or 400 hp like you're hoping.
Though I'm sure an intake & exhaust would give it a 15-20 hp increase.
