It sounds really nice. Has a good deep rumble. It could be a little louder but I have heard that they get a louder after they are on for a while. I have noticed a small increase in pickup, nothing crazy or anything but it is good enough. Over all I am very pleased with it. It's a Delta 40 by the way.

did you install a whole new system or did you keep the stock pipes and put on a new muffler?

Congrats dude. Did you get the single side out or dual? What size pipe did you use? I had 3" put on mine. Think stock pipe is 2 1/2". They do sound perrty for sure.

I went with 3 inch pipe as well. I decided on the single in dual out with the pipes straight out the rear. I had them put chrome pencil tips also. Looks good and sounds good. When I first got my truck, I was so disappointed in the way it sounded. I was thinking a V8 has to have some sound to it. Nope, sounds like a 4 cylinder. But now it sounds like a truck. Money well spent.

Sounds good. It is kind of cheesy to have a V8 so frickin quiet. If I wanted quiet I would have bought a car!

I will see what I can do about a sound clip. Maybe I will be able to get one this weekend.

id like to just do the muffler, any suggestions? is the flowmaster the best route or is there a similiar bolt in muffler available? I have an 06 QC Laramie with the 4.7HO.

For bolt on, I think a cat-back is your only real option. Replacing just the muffler will involve cutting and welding. The Flowmaster is good if you are going for sound and a little performance. Magnaflow seems to do better in the performance area from what I can tell. A buddy of mine has a Z28 and a Formula Firebird. Flowmasters on the Z and Magna Flows on the Bird. Basically the same car but the Magnas give a very noticeable performance increase. Hope this helps.
