After much looking around I have pretty much decided I am going to get a Dakota, but was wondering a few things. First how big of tires can I fit stock? It looks pretty tight with the 265/70/16's (31's), will 265/75/16's (32's) fit? or would I need a leveling kit? Second, I cannot find a quad cab with tow hooks or skid plates. I know skids bolt on, but how hard is it to install tow hooks? I thought I saw somewhere the front end needs to come off or do they just bolt on also? For cost reasons I am looking at a dealer demo '05 and a holdover '05 so ordering with this stuff is out of the question. Thanks.

I have an 05 dak CC. I bought the dakota tow hooks and installed myself They just bolt on and take about 10 minutes each. They are expensive bouth them from AutoTruckToys.com for 99.95 plus shipping. They look great.

NO it doesn't come with the Tow Package

It's part of the Skid Plate Group which costs $170 & includes:

-Fuel Tank Skid Plate Shield
-Transfer Case/Front Suspension Skid Plate
-Tow Hooks

But yeah you can buy the Skid Plates & Tow Hooks separate from Mopar....

RE: tires and tow hook ?'s
If the $170 price from a dealer is still good, it's probably cheaper than ordering online. I'll bet the shipping kills ya.

My '06 Club Cab had everything I wanted BUT the skid plate/tow hooks. Has anyone retro-fitted the factory kit? Is it a simple bolt-on or do you have to do any drilling?

Thanks

I have 265/75-r16's on my 06 dakota. They fit great, no rub, even if your offroading. Thats the size tires this truck should have come with from the factory.
