BoobaJuice,

Sorry for the delay but I've been off the forum for a while busy traveling. If I had to guess I would say that the 06 would have the same exhaust setup. I'm not aware of any emission regulation changes that would have driven a new exhaust system configuration. Certainly someone on here with an 06 can do a quick confirmation?

Still haven't done any audio of the exhaust system. Howvere it seems to be breaking in, it sounds even better as I've put some miles on it. A little more rumble and a little louder. Maybe its in my head?

Heres a couple of pics of the truck:

From what I know, any 05 or 06 that has the 3.7 or 4.7 has the two resonators. Only the 4.7 H.O. trucks have only one resonator, at the rear. Thats what gives the 4.7 H.O trucks the throatie exhaust tone from the factory

BearKat,

I had the standard repair as documented in the tsb 05-004-05 A. Replace half shafts, new rear brake kits, etc. I was lucky and thats all it was. Been fine ever since!

Will send you a copy of the TSB if I can get your email addy.

Can you tell me where you got your exhaust kit from? I love the way it looks and it sounds like something that we (me and my fiancee) could do.
