Just installed the Magnaflow Split Duals
Kasey,
I purchased my exhaust from performancepeddler.com. They were by far the best price and had great tech support when I was shopping around. I paid pennies under $400 for the split dual Polished Stainless Steel system. I decided to go with the magnaflow for many reasons:
1) Stainless Steel at the best price. I live right on the ocean and launch my boat with it. I also drive to and from SE Michigan at the holidays with all that stupid road salt. Aluminized systems just wont hold up over the long run.
2) MagnaFlow has long been the performance parts supplier to MOPAR whom also do validation of these systems on there vehicles. Note though that they have not yet on this particular system for Dakota.
3) Very well respecte name in many engine markets automotive, industrial, marine etc...
4) Came recommended by a local (Michigan) MOPAR speed shop.
5) Previous experience with MagnaFlow systems.
6) There aren't many other options for 05/06 Dakota
7) The MagnaFlow dual system allows you to retain the stock 17" spare wheel!
plus it sounds great inside and out side the cab. I've got lots of complements on mine. One thing I want to do though is get a CAI kit to help with performance even more, especially at low end!

They sell a lot of stuff on ebay & also have a website. They have the exhaust on ebay for our trucks, but not on their website. If you call them up....they'll get it for you though.
I've bought from them MANY times.....they're local to me (in Royal Oak), and I can just go pick stuff up from them to avoid shipping charges. (They have free shipping, but lower the price of the product)
They have REALLY good prices & are competitive and will beat other people's prices too. They're an authorized Magnaflow dealer, as well as Borla, Flowmaster, Eibach, K&N, & others.
The owner is pretty cool.
Highly recommend them!!!

Will the rear split side exit work with the spare tire and a trailer hitch?
That I do not know.
I don't think the hitch would be a problem....the spare tire might be though.
But I don't think they'd be selling an exhaust system that made you get rid of the spare tire, u know?? That's something that comes in handy...lol
Call Gibson up & ask them
