Yeah that's a load of B.S.

Once every week they usually have all the cars on the lot washed (in the summr), and then they have them cleaned up for "delivery" when you pick up the car/truck.

By the way, they don't wash the cars when they come off the truck. I worked at a Dodge dealer for 3 years. They come off the truck clean (from the factory), then they're "prepped", and put on the lot

Then the lot you worked for sucked ***. All of our lots clean the cars right after the PDI is completed in the shop. All the lots around here that i know workers at do the same. Considering the fact that the plasitc on the car during shipments leaves retarded amounts of Lines (from either glue on some makes, or trace lines from the plastic on static cling type covers ) and bugs/dirt/anything you can think of.
I live in Southeast Michigan and worked at a Dodge dealership.....most of the car/trucks come right out of Detroit & wouldn't be that dirty anyways
Yup...the Dakota was assembeled in Warren. Only reason my truck was dirty was because when they put the tire cleaner stuff on the tires, they like over did it and then it wasn't dry and so when I drove off it all splashed onto the sides of the truck...idiots.

Yup....the stuff just flings right off the tires and leaves spots (that smudge when you rub it) all over the truck

BUT it does make the wheel well (black) plastic look nice & shiny..lol!

We actually use vinyl/leather cleaner for tire shine now because it soaks in and doesnt sling unlike the other shine products, however it only lasts about a month sitting on the lot

my dealer gave me what is called an enviromental protection package. every 6 months i bring my truck to the dealer and they wash it wax it with some special stuff. suppose to keep the paint from dulling and to keep minor scratches off paint
