Default Taking off side molding.

I don't like the side moldings on the truck a whole lot.

I know they serve a purpose for bumping from doors, but I am taking them off, and anyone have any good input on the easiest way to do this?

Thanks.

K so that was a LOT EASIER than I thought it'd be. ****, it took longer to remove the badges on the rear.

I was gonna say.....I'll take the molding off your hands, but I have a Quad Cab & it's different sizes, and you want to keep it anyways....oh well

I have the black molding (factory option) on my doors on my truck....I don't mind it....it matches the door handles & the mirrors. Plus it'll save me from a nasty door ding from some stupid jackass.

Park far away. I guess, since you are like the coolest person on here, I could sell you the front ones. The rears, you gotta fend for yourself.

I was trying to get matching Blu_ones form the dealer but they want to much $$$.

Ebay is a buyers market hands down....I bougt mudguards for $40 bucks shipping & handeling total, them I had them painted for $60.
the dealer wanted $80 for mudguards and $125 for color WTF!!!!So Cheese bay is the way to go!!!!

1st.
I think trucks look so much more sportyer without them, B U T it's unpratical world out there! There are so many ********* who don't care for what or who's door/bodypart they ding, bang, push into or cut into! They just don't care!
Yes Frenchy
IM the Guy who parks a contry mile away from everybody eles or parks really close to the handycap spot, but the wife & kids are getting sick of it waiting or riding around for "that"spot so my remady is to just drop-em off at the front door when ever we go public!

snobrdrdan you have what I want, I'll just have them color match & paint it,it'll be less than dealer cost.

Fishing wire, and run it behind the moldings, grab the molding and pull.

When the molding is off, just peel the sticky stuff away.

Done.

You know it...lol....j/k

Nah....it'd look stupid half painted anyways & it'd be hard to just find the 2 of the 4.....I'd probably have to buy the whole set anyways to get the rears.....big pain in the ***

Just keep them for the future or sell 'em
