Nope didnt come with the truck...Leather not an option on the R/T......The dealer I went to had it custom done for 1400.00...I like leather with children...easier to clean...Thanks for the compliments

Nice looking rig. I've been thinking of doing my seats with the swede like the SRT10s. Hurry up and change out the wheels, and lower it. that'll make it look the way the R/T should look.

Just for my own info?

Do you like the stripe?
When I first saw my truck (Black w/ gray color stripe)

I asked how much to take it off. I traded in my black 99 R/T Dakota that I got new 06 R/T Dak.
I liked the older and lower cleaner look. But after having the truck a couple weeks it is looking better.

(Did not like the Superbird when it came out either but damn I want one now!)

By the way I'm 53 and the dealer had a new '70 440 6pak Superbird in the showroom in 1973. Bought a 1973 340 Duster for the same price...DA!

Damn 2 edits and six beers................

Leather seats with kids? I know they make messes, I've got a six year old and one on the way, but that's why I bought a truck. The bed is easy to spray the mess out of....now if I can only find a civilized way to tie him down so he doesn't bounce out.

i heard someone recommend leather to people with kids, because it doesn't stain as easy as cloth, therefore making cleanups better. I guess it's because it's non-porous and cloth is, i don't remember, something along those lines...

Leather does make for easier clean-up and doesn't stain. The shot at humor was the kid riding in the bed thing. Though sarcastic, mine doesn't and won't ride in the bed. The law here doesn't allow it now anyway, if there's room in the cab under 16 has to ride, even if it means an adult rides in the bed.
