wow all great sites. i ended up purchasing this one. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6918.html it was about 160 after shipping. Heck they even dropped the price by 5 bucks not a whole lot but they did. Then on top of that they shipped the same day. Now i will try and get some speakers.

I tried to see what Pepperhead was talking about on "Cadence Audio's" but i couldnt find anything.

Keep checking Cadence on a regular basis. When you get too their site click on car audio. Then click on "Buy surplus here". That is where those 6.5' comps will be listed. And they will be $79. Good luck with the install.

ok. i will post pics of the install as i do it. is there anything that i need to know special about removing the old stereo and dash stuff?

actually it sounds pretty good. i really like the blue tooth. I'm gonna try and put the pix in this weekend. I have been crazy busy the last couple of weeks.

Where are you putting the box and amp?

 

Glad to hear she sounds good for you. I posted the install about 2 weeks ago in "Install finally Done" if you want to look at pics. The sub amp is behind the right rear seat. And the comp amp is still behind the left rear. The sub amp sits far enough back that the seat still goes up so I can get to my jack. The sub stradles the hump between the center console and the rear cup holders. I can't use the cup holders anymore. I plan to replace current amps down the road with Memphis amps as they have the smallest foot prints out there and are high quality amps. Will also redo the entire back wall of the cab to make things fit better. Just don't have the time or money at the moment. And this was a strict budget install.
