Default "Best Little-Guy Pickup"

from trucktrend.com

"Winner: Dodge Dakota Club Cab
Although the Nissan and Toyota are probably the best bang-for-the-buck models in stripped, raw configurations, we've chosen the Dodge Dakota--it offers the only V-8 option for less than $1000. And the overall price is still a hair's breadth above $20,000. Likewise, the V-8 option gives the most torque of the group, the highest GVWR, and the highest towing capacity."

I may be mistaken but I thought the 06 Dakotas basic bumper to bumper warranty was 3yr/36k. Mine is 5yr/60k. It's not over priced if you work for Mitsubishi. I may have less than you and I got Quadcab, Bluetooth, priemuim sound system, sieris radio, heated leather seats, Homelink, tow package, everything but AWD. I bet the MSRP's are very close if you compare all the options.

I agree about the front end. It is a little to smooth, but it's better than that bumper sticking way out there. The 04 Dakota had the best front end.
