Default Automatic Transmission

Sometimes when the tranny is shifting i get a hard shift like its rough for it to go into that gear it's attempting to go in, you can feel it through the truck and it's at lower speed's, it does'nt do it all the time, is it cause it's a tight tranny, i ca'nt believe all the problem's that keep rising everywhere, i knew i should of kept my mustang, and it's sad my truck was even specially built for a couple that did'nt even buy the truck lucky them, sorry guy's but i think that DC built lemon's.

So graythang do you think this is a serious problem mine doesnt do it all the time is it the tranny or could it be the rear end conflicting with something or maybe this is another module or sensor, i just dont wanna deal with the dealer again cause i feel like a burden on them they are so backed up with customer's, it will take forever to get in there, well i have a few option's to handle this whole deal, thanks

By the way everyone i love the truck it's just that these problem's depress me cause i dont know what's really wrong or why it's wrong, i do love how my V6 will move out though that i like, and the leather seats and the 6 disc cd changer and the ride and the looks, it's got a kinda mean stance to it, it handle's real good in the snow too, i think if we can all come together and figure these problem's out this truck will be something to own.

Well I believe it’s the module that is the cause. If you saw some of my posts, I had the trans. module take a crap the second day on the road. Not good! Since the trans. is now electro./mechanical more than ever (smart transmission) gone stupid my logical assumption is the module commands are making bad electro. decisions that are intermittently wrong causing hard shifting. I agree that the dealer situation is just un-nerving. First, it seems they’re hypocritically concerned and the outcome is always the same. (Can't find anything wrong and the codes don't show a problem.) This situation goes on and on until your just out of time to spend and your crazy because you have payments on what’s becoming a POS day by day problem by problem and it kicks the wind out of what should had been a great truck experience. I would love to pull our resources together for a successful outcome but all I see is the Daks that are having problems and their burdened owners will just trudge thought this with posted outcomes of results that may help the next person. .

I just chatted with him about it and he said that it is typically a very reliable transmission and that if you are having that issue then take it to the dealer and make them fix it. The low mileage of the vehicle makes him think that something isn't right in the tranny. I am going to use a fovorite tag line here "infancy part failure!"
