OKay,

I have the lt 265/75/16s on the truck.

They are awesome, much better looking and fitting. The truck is lifted up at least an inch and just looks better.
I will post some picks later tonight.

Thanks for all of the information.

I went hunting yesterday, and we went through some pretty interesting stuff and I had no rubbing or clearance issues. Even in reel tight turning.

The bigger tires make the dakota more like a truck. I tried getting 265/75/16's on my 05dak and the tire company said that tires that big would tear up the front end of the truck. They ended up giving me 245/75/16, slightly taller, hardly. So you have no rubbbing issues with those tires?

no problem whatsoever with the tires, I am glad they did not come on it from the factory, because my negotiating would not have been as effective when I bought my truck.
I will post some pics soon

hey I got a question for the monkeywrench ! I got to wondering, since it now takes a little more to make one complete turn of the wheel, have you seen your mileage decrease at all? I was just wondering because my mileage stinks as it is haha. I guess with gas prices a little lower right now I am definitely able to handle it, last night I spent $47 to fill the thing from bottom to top, but yeah I was wondering about mileage change if at all noticable. Thanks!

I agree with golf! Also, could you get a close up of the clearance of the rear tire width? What were the sizes again and have you lifted or is it all stock?? Details man, I need details!

monkeywrench,
Have you lost any of your turning radius? Can you still turn the wheel all the way right or left with out any tire rub? Thanks for being a ginny pig with this. Sucks when no company wants to put there effort in and make a suspension lift for us.
