Dude best of luck here. I really hope all goes well and your back enjoying your truck. I understand the passion of loyalty to manufactures and even the Dak. If I didn't I would have more than likely sold the painted topper and liner and bought something else. (Tundra, LIL) but I chose to go to a replacement Dak. I guess I'm still stuck in Mopar mode.

Yep. As soon as the DC person said top off of engine and front Trans pump I looked at him and he knew that wasn’t happening to my truck. I said it’s a new $32k truck I’m not comfortable having it repaired to that existent. He than gave me the options and what to expect. He than said he will notify the Dealer and DH to get the process started.

Believe me it goes without saying that I wish this whole thing never had to happened. As most of us, we have a life outside of our vehicles and this has taken WAY too much of my time. I just want to put this to bed and get on hopefully enjoying the Dak this time around.

Well it works like this. The complaint was made when the truck had 3,500 miles so I am libel for that @ 0.30 per mile. I keep driving it until the replacement arrives. Lucky for them the truck will sit for three weeks in my driveway since I have a three-week business trip coming up. “Cali for three weeks? Sorry Lil.†They started building the 07s in August and since the industry is a bit slow now I was told it might come in quicker that Graythang #1. Graythang 2? Hmm that may be real bad luck.

Ya know that’s not far fetched. I am giving that some thought. I don't really care for the new five speed Auto. I believe there is too much HP loss to the wheels. It the wife who is dead against the manual. She drove one for years but is burned out on the shifting I guess. Does your trans make that noise that some complain about? The Trans is made by Getrag of Germany. Some post where jumping all over the noise.
