A month in the shop? Insane. What state are you in. The Lemon Laws are differant in states. Florida web site "My Florida" has the Lemon Law on line.

 

Do you still have your owners manual and all the other crap they stuff in with it? If so, there should be a copy of your states lemon laws in there.

 

im in New Mexico, and i still have the owners manual, unfortunatly its in my truck.....which is in the dodge dealership...



also, the dealship here is known for ****ing people over, so does anyone have a phone # to get ahold of some higher up dodge/chrysler people???? i think this may help them get moving on it a little faster.

 

Lemon Laws differ by state, IN Fl 30days downtime = Automatic Lemon. Otherwise its 3 intial visits and one final repair attempt. (note this pertains to the same problem, not brake shudder on week trans problem next week C.E.L on week later.)

And unfortunately the dealers dont decide between an overhaul/new trans/reman trans. The Manufactuer sets forth guildlines for certain conditions. So if your gonna fight for a new then take it to the customer affairs hotline. Remeber the dealership didnt build you car. They want to help you, no one likes dealing with an upset customer.

 

Call up the dealship and tell them you will be down in an hour to pick our your new truck and see what they say hehe

 

wow i just hit 26000 miles on my dak and have no problems like you people are describing. i even launch the truck at traffic lights to see if i hear any thing, just the tires squealling and leaving two nice blk strips. i dont know what type of tranny i have but the rear is the corporate 3.55 are there different trannys for different rears?

 

i got my truck back, it drives nice, and no problems so far. they ordered some new rear drums for the brakes shuddering and said they will call me when they get in.



Off Topic, but i just ordered the Jet stage 2 chip through my mechanic friend, anyone have a link to the site so i can read up some more info on it and compare the prices? i got mine ordered for 245 shipped...



also, it says i need a 180 thermostat, but my buddy said i could get a 160 degree thermostat....so will it matter if i get the 160 instead of the 180?
