Default HEADRESTS

I don't know about you guys but I HATE THE REAR HEADRESTS!!! They look horrible and I can't see shat. [:'(]

I was at Wal-Mart "Cheap Crap, Always" on Saturday and saw a RAM 2500 QC. It had very small headrests in the back.. seriously like only 5 inches or so high. Will these fit? If so, part numbers.. woot woot!

I just removed mine altogether. Really a clean look.

If anyone has passengers using the rear seats, I do not recommend removing the headrests. Now the only one using the rear seat of my QC is my golden retriever and he is too busy hanging out the window that he doesn't really give a rats behind about the headrests.

Now that I have gotten the disclaimer out of the way, you may proceed at your own risk.

The headrest has a couple of bars that slide down into the backrest. The bar is what locks on a tab in the backrest. I have forgotten which one but either the inboard or outboard ferrule attached to the seat (that's what the headrest bars slide into) has a small hole on the side that a large sewing needle can fit in. I used a paperclip which can be found anywhere. The paperclip is inserted in the hole (parallel to the ground) so that the locking tab is released and the headrest is removed upward. Simple and both can be removed in a matter of seconds once you know what you are looking for and where to find it.

This worked for me on my 06 QC - not sure about CC but should be similar.

I can't figure it out. I found what looks like a button with a small hole on the black plastic part the posts slide into but it just pops off and I can't get the headrest to come out. Any more direction would be really appriciated. Thanks!
