RE: vehicles youve owned?
I see that there are some other Geezers on this forum. In my 44 years of driving, I've owened too many vehicles to remember all of them. There were a few memoriable ones though:
'48 Ford Woodie
'63 Plymouth 426 (12 second car)
'65 Olds 442 conv (13.9 second car)
'71 Mustang Boss 351
A bunch of beaters during winters in Michigan
A bunch of Jeeps and other 4x4s when I lived in Az
4 Dakotas - '95, '97, '02, '05
'53 Chevy pu (more $$$ in this one that any new vehicle I've owned)
1 Ram for towing my '53 Chevy pu
The '05 Dak tows well enough to replace the Ram and gets 50% better mileage.

RE: vehicles youve owned?
I've been driving 9 years and had four cars so far....

'88 Cavalier wagon--a classic first car. Whoever had that one before me beat it up good, but for $850, it was a nice first car. I got 3 years out of it before it needed $1000 to pass inspection and, well, it just wasn't worth it. I will say, whoever picked the color, the paint matched all the rust perfectly.
'02 Saturn SL1--nice car to get me thru the rest of college. Real nice car, almost wish I had bought it instead of leased it so I could have it as a winter beater.
'05 GMC Canyon--solid truck 'til the warranty ran out, then it started coming apart big time.
'06 Dodge Dakota--had it two months, love it!

RE: vehicles youve owned?
My rides:

87 Plymouth Turismo (2 dr Horizon, same as Charger from that era) 2.2L, 5spd, carb. Black, plain as they came. This car went through hell with me, and then I sold it to my brother who put it through more. 8 years in the family before the motor gaveout on it. I think I was the 5th owner when I got it. The odo only went to 99,999km... so no idea how much was on it when she died.
87 Chrysler Daytona - 2.5L, FI, 5spd, plain again. Got it for $500 in 1994. Put $300 into it and drove it a year. Traded on thenext one...
92 Dakota. 3.9L, 5spd. No options. 2wd, reg cab. Damn good truck. I put about 250000km on it, my brother bought it, used it for his work truck. Hauled stone with it and drove all over the interior BC. Had about 450000km on it when he traded it for a 04 RAM. Still ran perfectly. Another one that was in the family for about 8 yrs
84 Dodge Ram Charger. 360CI, 4x4. Ex-RCMP. Went liked stink... till the timing chain jumped. I had the 92 as well at this time, and this was my toy. When I moved from AB to BC, I sold this to my friend. He fixed the motor and drove it for a couple years, then sold it to my other brother. He still has it... lifted 6 inches and sitting on 36inch wheels. Has a new motor in it now. Still goes like a banshee, bt stops at every gas station. Oddly enough, still has the original RCMP blue paint on it... with addition of a couple dings and rusted aroun the wheel wells at the back.
99 Dakota, 5.2L, auto, 4x4, club cab. Had a good options pack. It was a 1yr old lease back.
91 Cherokee, 4L, auto plain. Was a lemon, took it back. I had traded in the Dak for a cheaper ride... this was cheap alright. Dealer was trying to pull a fast one I think. The motor sucked oil through the air breather. A common 4L problem when crap oil, and not often changed oil is used. I tried to instruct them how to fix it, but they wouldn't listen. So they ended up getting it back. Motor was so fullof sludge, even a flush didn't clean it. 500km after an oil change, the oil was BLACK... what was left in it. I had this unit all of a month.
92 Cherokee Limited. 4L. Good rig. After about 1 yr decided if I was to make payments, might as well go new. Sold it
03 Liberty sport. Auto, 4x4, 3.7L. Good little SUV. 1st brand new one for me. Towed a 5x7 Haulmark trailer loaded through the mountains. I was passing people oing up hill. Not too bad. Used to turn heads doing that. Towed a 92 Golf through the mountains. Barely noticed it behind me on the dolly. This was a lease unit... she's gone now replaced with...
05 Dakota SLT, 4.7L, 4x4, quad cab. #2 brand new! I like the unit, tows good for its size. (one of those uhaul dual axle jobs) Had 1 year and a bit so far. Had quite a few eletrical problems though. 2 weeks into it, the airbag sensor (seatbelt) and door ajar sensor blew. Not quite a year later the tranny and transfercase solenoids and tranny computer supposedly went. Those repairs didn't repair it though... after a had day of Dodge tech work, they tracked it to some intermittant wiring in the harness. Been good since then... too bad the loaners are from a rental place. Kept giving me crappy Kia's and the like... I hope she'll last out now.

Not bad for 16yrs of driving my own vehicles. I have had countless long-term rentals for work, and many borrowed or temprary vehicles at different job sites. Of them all though, I still like the Dodges the best. The family likes them a lot too. My Dad drives almost nothing but Dodge (except the new motorhome), and my brothers have both converted after driving some of my cast-offs. They take a lot of abuse and keep going. I just hope the new Gen stuff will have the track-record of the old ones. Mine have never left me stranded except once... and that was due to the key tumbler in the ignition busting. The few minor breakdowns have all been within a block from home, or when someone was following me somewhere anyways.

RE: vehicles youve owned?
A Pulse is a motorcycle but drives like a car. It has a steering wheel, clutch, and brake pedal. The shifter is on the right side and rachets forward and back like a motorcycle would only it is a hand lever. Mine had a honda goldwing engine, lots of power. Reverse is done by pulling a lever that moves a starter motor onto the back wheel with a pulley. The pictures I have are on paper. Maybe I can scan them? Do a search for Pulse Motorcycle and you will see one.
