Default What Kind of Exhaust should I put on my 4.7

I was thinking the new warlock flowtech with the slelectable dump so I can open it up for who ever I don't like or just want to **** off, Anyone know if they are loud with any old flowmaster or eldelbrock or flowtech muffler or should I just throw on a glasspack.

I suggest the Gibson extreme dual like I have. The system looks great and sounds awesome. Very little droaning and doesnt hardly droan at all when pulling. Go to gibson's website and you can hear souns clips of the different systems. I get many complements on how mine sounds. Do NOT do a glass pack that is just aweful and it will pop and sound twangy (sp). My truck sounds real close to a mustang corbra if you have ever herd one, nice low rumble. At WOT you should still be able to **** people off with it. Also at crusing speed it sounds great. Just my opinion....

i went with the 3 inch single catback. had to the way the truck has the spare and the trailer hitch. happy with the way it sounds and has great low end torque now. when cruising sounds just like duals.

The extreme duals allows you to keep the hitch and spare as well.

Can't Afford the gibson that stainless stuff just too much or I would of went with gibson or magnaflow I like the magnaflow sound. But I also have a buddy who has flowmasters single inlet dual outlet with the 5.7 hemi and its the baddest sound i ever heard from a truck besides my brothers 2000 chevy 1/2 ton with a 6.0 dropped in it running 3 inch with dynomax race bullet mufflers the thing has like perfect throttle response so its sick sounding. wakes me up every morning, I like that

You can go the cheap route just remove the big muffler and replace it with a piece of exhuast tubing want it louder remove the resonator over the rear axle to or just pull everything from the muffler onback to the axle and stick a 3 or 4 foot piece of tubing dumped near the axle, should be pretty loud.

I already move that last piece so its at the axle sounds same though the other two come out next, then straight pipe for sure with something towards the end maybe dual dunno the prices at the muffler shops around here.

I'm running mine without the muffler but still have the resonator over the axle it's loud enough formy taste and I'm happy with the sound,I'm not changing anything till I can afford to go stainless, pull the muffler and everything to the tailpipe and just stick a piece tubing on it and dump it at the axle,if your comfotable doing it yourself go to the muffler shop get them to cut you a piece of tubing a couple of clamps shouldn't be more than $30 for that,if you like it great if not you're only out a few bucks, the factory stuff is just bolted on you can save it and put it back on later.
