2005 Dodge Dakota Rough Idle?
What's scary is on a lot of DIYs that you find for seafoam with a google search, the user says pour the seafoam down the vacuum hose till the engine stalls or just shove the hose in the can for the vacuum to pull the liquid out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! That's how you hydrolock a motor! Morons. And that's what makes the internet a terrible place to get automotive advice. I also wouldn't be so quick to pour this stuff in my crankcase ....
Just how rough an idle are we talking about? Mine has a very slight shake at idle that only I can tell. Perhaps related, the truck hesitates/shakes at very small throttle openings when coasting. Does anybody have these symptoms?
