I Got The Silver Stars!!!
I just bought the H13 silver star's today, didnt even have to pull the head light housing out just layed on the ground and pulled out the old and put the new one's in, it only took about ten minute's, and i thought i heard rumor's that the H13 Silver Star's were not going to be available, i think somebody was wrong, they were $37 dollars plus tax at Advance Auto.
Thanks for the up dated. I was not aware they were out yet. I also just found out on another forum the H13 silver star are also available at Auto Zone. I will be looking to get a pair next week. Silver Star are the best bulb for your money for rainy night driving.
Any concern with the mounting pieces of the headlamp cover melting. I have heard some folks mention this. Do they burn at a higher than stock wattage or just burn more efficiently. Repost after running them for a bit and let us know if any problems. Good luck and I have heard they look great.
here's the webpage for autozone with three different types of SilverStars, http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...ction=loadPage
Yes are dakota's take the H10 or 9145 for the fog lamp's on the packaging it will say 9145 , i already had the silver star fog lamp's, they really didn't last long, but then again i used them every time i drove, i just think that the new dakota look's tough with the running lite's and the fog light's on at the same time especially at dusk time, i wasn't aware that they were out either just went to advance auto out of the blue and started looking and there they were, so i bought them.

Cool! I bought some 8000k blue/white bulbs off ebay awhile back thinking they were going to be better and I suppose they look cooler but not very bright. Anyone have an opinion about 8000k vs. say 4000k? Better? Worse? Thanks.
just to let everyone know... yes silverstar bulbs are great, but they are very overpriced. you can get the same effect/brightness out of bulbs that are 50%-70% less expensive. look around on ebay and shop smart.
