You would think with all the retro cars coming back because of their looks they would go back to move of a gen 2 look with the dakota but if they keep it up I will be never letting go of my 04 and might look into finding another low miles 03/04 just to have back up in case something happens to the one I have now.

yea they must of hired the guy that came up with the New Coke Cola idea, the retro look with the bulging hood put Dodge back on the map thats what made them unique, with all the SUVs out there, it was easy to spot a Durango,I just hope they don't go this route with the trucks,

I think that it looks like a bigger sized Caliber, which isn't all that bad looking IMO.

Wow, now it doesnt look like the front end was made up of spare parts. IMO at least. I think this is a huge improvment. Now they just need to do somthing about the rear bumper cover, which looks like its a universal bumper cover from a JCWhitney catalog. It doesnt even match the rear quarter pannel lines...

At least the front end is fixed though.

I wonder if that front lip--the lower air dam/spoiler from the Durango (look again at the above linked pics) would rivit onto the front of our 3G Daks. I think that would make our front end look a little better. Any thoughts?

idk if it would or not but even if it did, look where that bumper flairs out to meed the fender. that wont match for sure. at first i hated our bumpers, even before i got mine, but they grew on me and arnt bad, they could be better, but i like it now. if the bumper did fit i think it would look good though, i mean minus where it flairs out for the fenders, fix that and it would look good

I don't mean the painted bumper cover----just the textured/unpainted lower front spoiler.
