snowing outside
over here in ct, there is a couple of snow flakes falling. should make for an interesting ride home. just wondering if anyone has put a protective coat of wax on there truck and what kind? noy the show and shine kind but something decent for the weather elements.
i was just curious because they mix the sand and salt together over here. who knows what else they trough in. it eats away the asphalt. so it will start to eat the paint.
Well chief over here they put calcium in the mix too . Supposed to help every thing from freezeing. They also got brine spreaders that shoot hot liquid on the road . The mix is salt and beet juice . Sounds weird I know ,but the sugars in the beet are supposed to help roads from freezing. So with all that getting threw at ya most people around here reccomend to wax you truck before winter . I use maguyers wax . Sorry about the spellin.
I live in central NJ. Gets pretty nasty off and on in the winter. Been using Meguire's Gold Class liquid wax for years. By spring finish still beads. Used almost everything else out there and this stuff is the best.
