who here has raced there dakota? I saw one race 2 weeks ago, I think it was a v6. it ran a 17.26 IIRC. post up your time slips.Mod, If we get enough response maybe we can sticky this? Im going to try to take mine to the strip hopefully in the next few weeks.

 

I raced mine back in October. I think it was a 16.8 with the V8 QC. I also had slowed down before the finish line because I coundn't find it. I beat the guy I was racing though. I'm going to race it again in the spring time when I get a couple of other things done.

 

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the times stated by DakotaStone and turbot_bird based on? Is that a measured 1/4 mile? Might want to see how my Dak does.

 

id like to go race mine. have a buddy that wants to race me. figure ill put od off first, theres a big dif. i do punch it a lot when i get on the highway. im really suprised with how quick it is compaired to my 01 ram, but ya it was a v6, i know...oh i have the 5 speed auto v8 in the dak...but its nothin compaired to my firehawk..

 

1/4 mile, Ya this thing does seem to catch gear faster than my 01 ram 5.9 4x4 off road did

 

14.3 with the cams, intake and stock 3.55, quick litle truck.
