Default Generation question

I see other boards use a different Gen. method such as this........

Gen I: 87-90
Gen II:91-96
Gen III:97-04
Gen IV: 05-current

Wonder which is more accurate.

IMO I wouldnt call what they did in 91 another generation. all they did was change the front end abit. the truck is still the same. and besides if they did it that way, then the gen 1 forum would be pretty dead. as theres not that many of us with 87-90.

[sm=smiley4.gif] Thanks.

Next question, why does my motorcycle "Honda VTX 1800" have over 10,000 members on that site and we don't come close. Any ideas how we can recruit more? Yep, Im talking out my butt. Hell, any post is a good post at this point.

Nice wheels Frenchy!

Because their wrong... dead wrong. Another popular Dodge forum has the same generationn setup as we have, and they say, "We have posed the question to DC, very early on, and they indicated to us that our listings are correct in this regard."

Haha... like its not dead as it is .

I know that Dakota USA does it the way you're talking about. There's another site... DakotaTrucks.com does it the same way as this forum does it.

The problem with Dakota USA is they don't recognize the 05+ because they're so into the Gen II's.

What's wrong with that?
