Default small throttle body problem

i just installed my new fastman throttle body today. i had no porblems with the install and everything fit fine. the only problem i'm having is this. when the truck is idling, in park, its fine...until you rev it. if i rev it in park it won't go back to a stable RPM. it will keep bouncing back and forth between 500 and 1000 and won't go back to a steady idle. it never did this before so i don't know what it could me. its not a big deal, but it is something i don't want to turn into anything else. anyone else ever have that problem? or anyone have any ideas?

o i also forgot whenthe engine is trying to regain idle and bounces between 500 and 1000 RPM's the lights inside flicker a little bit. could it possibly be a battery problem and maybe disconnecting it and reconnecting it made it worse? or something with the throttle body

Hrmm, I'd assume something isn't tightened down or something...

since you disconnected the battery, your computer will have to relearn its self again.

anytime you tear into the motor and replace any factory item you need to reset pcm. disconnect neg cable for 20 min. then reinstall cable start and stop truck three times on the third time leave truck running for 5 min. then take it for a ride. the pcm has to learn the new air flow and readjust the paramiters. if you dont do this it will take about 300 to 500 miles to figure it out. and double check all connection. the voltage for thetb sensorshould have 76 volts. if not then the sensor needs to be moved.
