quick question about lowering

quick question about lowering
i have a 4x405 dakota, and i just wanted to know if anyone who hasa 4x4 model has done any lowering and had any problems. i don't know if its true, but i heard rumors that with the 4x4 you can run into problems with, i assume to be, the transfer case. anyone know?

Thatis a link to an airbag kit from airbagit.com. I was looking into doing it, but when I called their tech guys about it, they said they were having problems on the 4X4s. If you drop it down to far, the front drive shafts start to contact the lower a-arm. Said they where working something to fix it, but it would be a couple of months at thie earliest, this was in late November. I haven't checked back with them since.

There was a guy on here that lowered his 4wd.....FONTANAmotorsports.......he had some custom springs made and planned on selling them....dunno if he ever did though
You could do the shackles in the rear to level it and I think if you crank on the torsion bars up front it could change the ride height too (someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I know they help in lifting the front...so I'm sure they can lower a little too)
