Tint Question

tinted them myself. didnt have any accutech tint left so I went to autozone and got some crapGila scratch resistant, it turned out alright. I have to re-do the drivers side... it has a crease in it. in the upper left hand corner.
Did they darken the rear tint for the 2006 trucks? You guys keep saying that your rear tint is darker than the 20% on the front windows, I know that my 2005 rear windows are lighter than the 20% that I had put on the fronts. If they did change the rear tint %, that clears up my confusion.
I did figure out why the rear windows on my "before" pic look darker. The tree in my neighbors yard has all of the leaves on it and it is giving a dark backdrop for the windows. In the "after" pic the tree is bare, lighter backdrop.

idk why they would make any changes to tint levels of stock vehicles, if my 15 goes on and there is a big dif. really noticable, just might have to put some 35 on the rears to even it out a little. no way should fronts be noticably darkerthan therears

tell your tint guy that you think the rears are 17% he should have some. I sat in the truck today and looked out both. I think the 20% is just a smidge lighter. it might even be 20% because I used cheap tint. Just have him check it out and see what will be the closest match. make sure he doesnt use any tint that has a blue or green hue to it. it really shows up. (mine has a greenish hue, due to the scratch resistantcoating.)
the guy knows his stuff, hes qualified. and im havin him put 15 on front, if its noticable, id rather do the back darker than front lighter. from what ive heard, he knows his stuff, and im trustin him.
20 over the rears would prob be too dark. ive had too dark, and i dont want too dark. a lot of parrallel sp parkin around here, too big of a hastle not to be able to see out the back window. im not the best at estimating distance.
