Ya, why didn't you think of that WHILE doing it. :-P

Also, I think it'd be very beneficial for the forum, since there is a ton of people looking to do this mod.

Is 2500 CFM good enough for a fan for our trucks?

I wasn't aware of any 3rd gen dakota forums at the time I did this modification.

That will work fine, that's better than a clutch fan.

TB is on, the install took me about ten minutes. Then I did the computer relearn. Didn't go down the highway yet, I want to see some estimates from you guys before I go run it tonight. How many tenths do you guys think I'll shave? I'm guessing .1. Maybe a .5 mph gain.

I dunno, I say a little bit more time would be shaved, like .3 and about a 1mph add on.

That's all the guesses? I guess I didn't give you guys enough time, but here's the results anyway.

The truck dropped .2 off the 1/4 and gained almost 1 mph. Not bad! The 60 foot dropped a tenth from the torque gained from this mod. You can feel the TB, the truck is very punchy right off idle all the way up.Special caution is heeded not to spin my 31" tires.
