Default What should I do?

Hey everyone, I know some people are propably getting a litlle annoyed with my inexperience. Anyway I'm picking up my Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab tomarrow, and over the next couple months I want to make it look/run NICE. I don't have alot of money to work with and I don't have any real experience working on a car/truck, except oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing brake bads. Of course that was all on a car not a truck.

Back to the point, with little experience and little funds, what should I do to my Dakota?

There's not really any free mods that you can do. Tint is cheap. Some kind of bed cover. Maybe a new stereo. Other than that, you're going to need some funds. Tires/Wheels, etc.

What I meant is relatively cheap as in not more than $500 a mod. I.E. rims at $150 a piece would be too expensive for me to do anytime soon, but I know there are some cheaper things I could do like tint, radio, shifter *****, gauges, etc... I was hoping for some ideas and all ideas are welcome.

i removed the badging and stikers from my dak, the 4x4 stickers and all the decals on the tailgate but the dodge ram head.

then i added exhaust and cold air should be able to get cold air for 200-300 depending on brand and its easy to instal, exhaust will prolly run you clsoe to 300 depending on who you know and were you go, and what you do.

intiror lights are cheep and easy too.

be more specific please......

definately tint, possibly silverstars, their a nice upgrade, bedcover or bedliner (bedrug ftw if your gunna have a top) just stuff like that...remember, you may say you dont have funding for big things...but its the little things that count. id rather have a truck with a bunch of nice little things than a truck with 1 big *** mod. remember, think things thru first and who cares if someone doesnt like your mod, its your truck, the only person you HAVE to pease is YOU. as for us gettin annoyed or w.e., were just everyday ppl just like you that have a passion....im not mechanically engineered but i like gettin on here and talkin about stuff. welcome man

first thing i would do is swap out the thermostat. that will run you about 8.00. cooler stats make power. get a nice cai. cheap off of ebay, mine was 212.00 for the complete k/n fipk. if you want an exhaust. find a nice muffler and have a shop bend and hang pipes. if you pay in cash most private places dont charge tax.. a tonneau will help out with gas mileag. some people like the canvass but i went fot the fiberglass, because i hardly use my truck as a truck
