I've noticed on my stock stero and system that the tinest scratch on a CD makes the system skip and fairly bad, well atleast enough to ruin any song. I just wanted to know if anyone else has or had similar problems... or if there is actually something wrong with my stereo.

Has anyone had a cd get stuck in the cd player? That is what has happened to me and I can't get the thing out. Is there any trick to it. I push the eject button and nothing happens. I can still listen to the cd but the darn thing won't eject. Some guy at a car stereo place told me I would have to take the stereo out and then I could get to the cd, is that true? If I am going to take the stereo out then I might as well replace it. Thanks for your input or advice. Oh yeah, it is a stock stereo.

Oh man I think I'd destroy my radio if Celine Dion were in it.
Ok as far as my stereo goes...no issues. I listen to CDs often and no skipping at all (except the cd I made on the pc and the kids tossed around a bit lol).

So far so good. The error correction seems to work pretty well on my factory unit.
