After installing the K&N intake for my V6 3.7L, I really wish that I hadnt wasted the money. The IAT sensor didnt fit, and the pipe is seriously the exact same shape as the universal L shaped pipes you can buy anywhere for cheap. The kit almost seemed universal if not for the heatshield. Maybe an EBAY kit with a K&N filter might be a better option...and I NEVER say that...

I put the Flowmaster single pipe kit on my truck. It has a nice rumble to it but doesn't drone at all. It sounds good under accleration but is pretty tame the rest of the time. I'm pleased with it.

I have an Airaid modular intake tube on my Dakota also. The air box set up is cold air from the factory, so I put the tube on and a drop in K&N filter.
