anyone......
Well, as a hobby its not a huge deal to surround yourself with great fighters, but it will help you grow as a fighter...
thats pretty much just what i was gettin at. kinda wonder what would have happened to me if i didnt have my break down...would i be here on a wrestling scolarship? would i be somewhere else? i mean, i still had offers, but nothin D1, but it didnt matter to me bc to me, i was ready for the end and didnt want to pursue it after hs....now i just miss it....i wouldnt change things though, i made my decisions for a reason, and im happy now. as for the pic, that was my sophmore year, i feel i was better than then ever. mainly bc i had the drive and desire. at 5'4" i was 99.9% of the time the stronger person, but thats not the best thing to rely on, i was swift, fast, and had great technique which came naturally. im still 5'4" now lol

D1 is a tough way to go, especially if your not 200% commited. I went down to indiana to see the program and such, and the guys were all saying that they have 2 a-days every day but sunday... thats too intense for me. maybe they just said it to scare me off, but either way it worked. I had it pretty easy in H.S. though. my school is a class C. It always worked out that I had to wrestle a teams #1 or 2 guy though. 130 and 135 produce some pretty good wrestlers for some reason. its a good weight for mass and speed I think...
ya i know what u mean, when i was on the oklahoma national team for freestyle and greco we would come up here (to osu) for a week and wrestled with osu's team and we went trough their intensity camp with them which was 6 hours of wrestling a day (2 morn, 2 afternoon, 2 early evening) and then right before bed we had to go run around the campus. do that for 7 days in a row, its exhausting. but my hs was 4A which means we wrestled 3A (schools go up to 6A but in wrestling your a class lower) so we dueled 3A (in wrestling) schools but always went to 6A tournaments minus conference, regionals ect.
