Exclamation 2011 Durango R/T

Si we went to the car show today and found a nice new 2011 Durango R/T. Black in color and looked good with the 5.7L HEMI power plant. I asked if they were going to get the 6.1L HEMI or the 6.4L HEMI in which they would not state, however I don't think it's going to happen. I was a little disappointed at the flimsy rear seating and the over all design after seeing it in person however, I don't think I will own one.

Anyway, the pic's turned out out of focus, but here they are anyway:

Flimsy rear seating? 2nd and 3rd row matches so don't see how it can be flimsy. And since that was the same display they have had at every traveling car show, when I saw it is was DO NOT STEP on the platform so we couldn't even get in.

Do you have a bionic eye?

It was the same, platform setup as well.

What I am compairing it to is the regular version, the seating for the rear is not comfortable and thin. Add leather on top of that, well draw your own conclusion. I asked them about it and they said it was the same however with the leather. With that said I am drawing a conclusion.

Besides, I hopped the platform......LOL......I wanted more of the interior up front and snapped those pic's (some didn't turn out because I was tring to hurry) and I didn't get time nor did I really care for the rear as much. Personally I dislike the new look, but each to their own. I wanted to post up the first pictures, and I got virgin for the R/T.

Well, you are out on a island solo on that one. Most who care about a 3rd row seating in terms of auto reviewers are really talking up the third row seat in the Gen3 D as nice and roomy. To each his own. Opinions are like belly buttons, everyones got one.

I think it's an improvement from the 2nd Generation Durango. I still love the 1st Generation the best though! I am of the opinion that Dodge made too many changes with the Durango and Dakota designs. Ford keeps their design for the Ranger and F-150 very similar over the years. I like sticking with the traditional most "popular" look. This 3rd Generation Durango looks a little more like the 1st Generation in my opinion which is good.

The 2011 Durango looks like the product of a one night stand between a Charger and a Caravan. i bet a stripped down model looks pretty weak. The 1st generation is still the best looking Durango.

I dig this. Alot. I think it's the best looking Durango yet. Bummer about the flimsy seats, though.

And, as I always wonder, where's the stick shift?

Almost on line with you but I would go Charger and Journey combo!
