Your gut is probably right, as is their asking price. Don't forget, they expect the buyer to negotiate a better price. If you get 10% off their asking price, you are at exactly the value you feel is fair.

Nobody pays sticker. It sounds like they think $27k is fair too.....they just know that the buyer will want a discount.

V6 Express AWD, Tow Package and sunroof. 29,700 out the door. Traded in a 2010 Mercedes 300 for $2500 more than I paid for it. Financed $27200 @ 2.9%. No rebates on the AWD when I made the purchase. I did get the $500.00 military rebate.

NY, it's a 2011, sticker was $44k and change. Had 18 miles on it when I saw it, I only wanted it in Inferno red, was even thinking of going to FL to pick one I found there. And since Dodge discountinued the color in 2012 I jumped on it. I worked off the invoice they got dealer cash $3k and lease return promo of $1k plus I financed through the dealership when they matched my banks interest rate and they gave me another $3k off the price.

potsyboy, that's a great deal. Congrats. And I didn't know they discontinued that color. Nice catch!

Some paints were having problems due to not being able to source them in quantity from Japan after the earthquake. Maybe that is what was up with the red.

Well, I have managed to get an offer that's $3500 less than the original offer. If I can get another $500 out of it I will probably pull the trigger.

I've breifly tried to see what the best price I could get on a new 2012 was but it's tough to find a Crew that isn't all optioned out with stupid stuff. Plus the $1000 Ally bonus cash offer expires today.

Anybody know if theres any rhyme or reason to Dodge's incentives or are they pretty unpridictable?

Works just fine for me, it doesn't feel underpowered for an SUV this heavy.
