I installed the chr550 with ipod adapter, the unit does play video from ipod touch, and unlock feature works as said, however the product is far from perfect and needs adjustments, the menu controls work 100% and sometimes 80% I emailed the company support and never received and answer, it can also use a subwoofer output

remove the center councel, and then the dash, just a few screws, the small pocket where the dash meets the councel has a small existing hole on it already all you have to do is run the cable and give it the length you want

not sure what you mean by the menu control. I find the chr550 great for playing video on the screen. I dont really use it for the "infotainment" feature as it changes the controls.

For me the chr550/lockpick was 99% so i could input addresses while driving, and 1% the bonus feature that I could watch videos on the screen and also charge my iphone.

I placed the cable in area by the cigarette lighter. I hate reaching in and out of the glovebox and center console.

Well I have the steering wheel controls, so one issue is using the steering wheel. I can switch between menus, fm,dvd, sat,tv, etc. using the sw buttons I am able to switch between menus however when I stop on tv I am no longer able to switch to the next menu using sw button, I then have to use the stereo head unit buttons, also when playing ipod/ipod touch to play music, sometines I'm able to skip to next song, and sometimes the function just doesn't seem to work, sometimes disconnecting the ipod and reconnecting it works

I've read through the posts and it seems that there are still many kinks in the product. Is it worth purchasing it right now? I'm in Toronto Canada. Please advise.

Just one question after reading all the information I can get my hands on and videos on this item. My question is how do you get the sides of the vehicle view if you only have the rear camera.

You have to purchase additional cameras.

http://www.coastaletech.com/LOCKPICK_CAMERAS.htm

They are pretty inexpensive. I picked up two extra with the LockPick CHR550. The CHR550 was an easy install in my 2012 Citadel. I haven't decided where to mount my additional cameras yet. Probably going to be a front camera for parking.. and a baby camera to monitor my little girl...
