We traded in our '08 Charger R/T, which was my favorite car we ever owned. This Durango just might take top honors- I'm really impressed with it. Very smooth and quiet. I think it's a keeper.

Edit- My pics are aparently way too big. I'll try to resize and add later.
Congrats and welcome aboard! Just use a hosting site like photobucket, imageshack etc., to post your pictures.

OK, so I'll bite. It looks like you might have the bright silver wheels with the standard tires as opposed to the darker colored wheels of the R/T with the Khumo's that are on mine.

If you don't have the tools to resize you can always use the following website, choose 760 pixels, best quality.

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

I can't find anything wrong with your D, so what's the factory install error?

Thanks for the tip. The problem is hard to see from the pics, but the wheel lip mouldings are different from side to side. We didn't notice it until the day after we bought it. The left side mouldings are body color like they're supposed to be, but the right side are textured black like the crews have. I called the dealer (180 miles away) and they told me to contact the local dealer, which I did yesterday. They basically told me to pound sand- go back to your dealer. I tried to buy local, but they didn't have the car, and made no effort to find it for me, and now they're being a-holes about it. I bought my previous car there, and do my service there, but I guess that's not good enough. I'll call the selling dealer on Monday to try to resolve, and I'll even install the mouldings myself if they would just ship them to me. I'll probably start a separate thread to get suggestions if they won't solve this.

The wheels are the same as the other R/Ts we looked at, and I would actually prefer brighter. I do have the "3 season performance tire" option, but mine are Continentals, possibly a production change for later models. Mine has a May 12 build date- it came to the dealer the day before we picked it up. She ain't even three weeks old yet.

I'd get ahold of Dodge about it. Where you bought it is irrelevant. You have a legitimate production/warranty issue, so it shouldn't matter. I'd make them fix it, then they would never see another dime from me! Then again, I am a bit spiteful when it comes to this kind of stuff...
