Thanx fellas! Really stoked about the Durango. What are your thoughts on the Dodge stripes on the front quarter panels? I think they might look good on this white Durango, maybe black stripes? Really want to keep it black and white! Also how do I go about getting the headlights and tail lights tinted? Would love to have the 2014 tail light strip on the back but not sure if that is even possible without switching out the tailgate....I traded in my 2003 Dodge ram 1500 regular cab for this beauty. Sometimes I wish I went with the HEMI...but that will be next! Any and all thoughts on outside cosmetics would be appreciated!

I wouldn't trade my black beauty for a white one, you CRAZZYYYY...you will be getting Fandango on here popping champagne if I did that. Go to main 3rd gen page, on right click search this forum...type in lug nuts, tint, you name it, we have bought it and talked about it man. I almost bought from Beck too, but didn't feel like waiting 48 hours, had Jax Chrysler cut me a good deal.

Test drove in my hometown and bought my vehicle over the internet and they delivered it to me 3 hours away! Will check out the postings. Will keep in touch.

 

I am a big fan of the stripes, guy on Ebay sells them for our truck, I just cut them and removed the portion off my hood, different and I like it better just on the fenders. Welcome and enjoy your new rig.

 

Just to clear things up re: colors..

most of the older crowd here go for the white,
to match their hair...
and also it is less maintenance, easy on their bad backs.

I think theres a 55 & over senior citizen discount on the white from chrysler too..

the black ones are known to go faster too, at least 20 more HP (50 more HP after a wash and wax)..

and Black Durango's are known to attract more attention from the younger females, as the brilliant black crystal pearl paint has more ferromones in it (Its the "Pearls" in the paint mixture, thats why it rhymes with "Girls" - not to mention the "Crystals")
and their wives wont let them buy the black as a result.

Just thought I'd clear that up for the newbies!
