installed my caliper covers last night...Very heppy with them. They match the
red RT badges bettet than I imagined they would. Install was tricky for the 1st wheel, easier for the last 3 wheels

the great part about it is I was able to get them on without taking off
my wheels, thanks to the big openings between the wheels spokes on
the SRT reps..

Please look past how filthy shes is, I will post clean pics if we ever get
nice weather on a weekend...

#1 I totaly agree they look great, mine come in tuesday, opposite of yours, Red with Black inserts, but I have the Black 22 Repos, I think is going to look great. I hope I can do the same and try and install without taking wheel off but maybe not as lucky as you with the SRT's

#2 - Agree again, get that baby cleaned up and post some clean pics.

Cant wait to get the caliper covers installed, really going to finish the wheel up.

Default 2013 Durango Lag

Does anyone else have a Lag when going from 1st to 2nd gear?
I just put a CAI in it. Seemed to have helped some.

honestly theres a lag between all gears...very soft, sloppy, and
delayed shift points...no sense of urgency or performance whatsoever..
the tranny is this trucks greatest handicap and really kills what could have been
a great performance oriented machine...instead, it looks and sounds better on paper than it ever will be on pavement...for the price and with those R/T badges i expected ALOT more...

still like it for what it is, but missing that exhilarating feeling thanks to the tranny...hoping a tune can salvage something here and
change her ride dramatically...if i can ever get a tune on my 2013. Shame on dodge for cheapening the R/T brand on this vehicle... Sad...they could made it
worth the gas guzzler tax and the price tag by doing a better job on the tranny
and/or tuning...

sad when your 2010 model year 290HP v6 nissan maxima with "6 speed" cvt tranny outperforms the crap outta your 2013 360HP v8 hemi R/T ...
and i dont even wanna think what my old $8K cheaper 06 trailazer SS with 4 speed tranny would do to run circles around my durango in all performance categories and still tow
more or less the same load...

ok done venting for now

but heck, she is gorgeous and well refined...maybe I am asking too much !?
so close, but yet so far, from what i wanted/expected in performance...

i will trade up in a second tho, if the 8 speed makes a big difference...
a long, hard test drive will definitely be in order soon as they come out
with the 8 speed...or i wont last 2 years in this bad boy before i look for something both pretty and fasttt (srt8 or cayenne twin turbo!? maybe a ford explorer sport twin turbo, at least i can boost the turbo if i get bored!!)

HELP I NEED MORE RESPONSE FROM MY R/T or its missing the "R" !!

dodge cares where are you? anything to say in your defense? what happened
to the "R" in my "R/T" - ?!? its missing!!! i dont even have a tow hitch,
so clearly the hemi isnt there just for towing is it? wheres the performance!?
otherwise what makes an R/T an R/T!? just engine displacement!?

Lol she could seriously use more grunt, great looking truck and love it overall but the performance lacks quite a bit coming from my modded out 335i & Ram SRT-10 has been a bit of an adjustment!
