This brochure also states that the mileage of the V6 will be 32mpg on the highway, and the V8 will be 28mpg highway. How on earth did they accomplish that??? I can't imagine the 6 speed alone can improve things that much.
It also says the fuel tank is down to 20.5 gallons. I guess if the mpg is up that much you don't need as much gas to maintain a good range, but what happened to the other 4 gallons? What's in that space, or is it just a weight saving measure -- which would also help mpg?

whole brochure looks Canadian? Wonder if the Captains chairs are coming here also? To tell you the truth i don't care for them. Had them in my Tahoe LTZ and Yukon denali, like the extra seating the 2nd row bench provided better, especially when you have to lower the third row that "5th" person spot in between becomes a big time benefit.

I don't see any way that they could have bumped mpg to 28 with the V8. I think it is a mistake/typo....but time will tell.
Ah! Didn't notice that. Thanks.

Yes it is ironic that when you add captains chairs you loose a seat. Happens at the restaurant to. Put two four tops together and you seat 6 where you had 8.
We also have had a Tahoe a Escalade EVT and it was way easier for the mini kids to just jump in the second door and walk between the seats to the back row. Agree it would have been nice for that row to seat 3 not 2 and keep the second row 3 as well but after having had one of them almost slice their finger off trying to adjust and lower "fold and tilt" seats... we really can't see us going there.
I hope that January build schedule is accurate. I missed that it was Canadian as well.
Heck, my "mini-kids" are just as happy to hop over the seat. And then there's my 5 y.o. who insists on wanting to show me how she can fold the seat herself
