Default Oil Level via Dipstick (5.7 Hemi)

So, I have the Citadel 5.7 Hemi AWD and I am on my 2nd oil change. For the first oil change I used Mobil1 5W20 with the K&N 2010 oil filter. My second oil change i used same oil (Mobil1) 5W20 with the Mobil1 M1-210 filter. All oil changes have been performed by Dodge dealer. Each time there are (7) quarts added as per manual added.

My question/concern is that whenever I check my oil level via the dipstick (usually check in the morning after car has been sitting all night) on level ground of course, it looks like the oil just makes it up to the add line. I thought it was just me, but now after the second oil change it's the same situation. The oil pressure is fine (about 27-30 at idle and 47-50 during drive), however, how does one know when oil needs to be added? At one point, I thought it was the anti-drain back valve not draining the oil back into the reservoir, but am not even sure if that plays the part here.

Curious of your thoughts?

Same thing here. Had my first oil change with seven quarts added. I think it may need 8 based on the dipstick reading???? Thinking of topping it off with at least another half quart. Anyone else have any ideas??

I know this is old, but has this been discussed? Performed first oil change today, and 7 quarts of amsoil only got me to the add mark on the dipstick. I have no problem adding an 8th quart, maybe it's due to an the oil cooler that comes with the tow package?

I did mine by the dipstick, to the full line (same engine/tow package).
I used two five quart bottles so wasn't able to notice how many quarts used. This is the first I've heard of this issue.
If you can't use the dipstick to measure your oil level, what else is there?
Just fill it to the full line.

My 1st oil change a few weeks ago, Mobil 1, 5/20 Used 7qts and still had room for another so I added an 8th.
I looked it up and it said 7 qts in the book, but I used 8.

Never checked the level but it may be due to the oil cooler as mentioned above.
